The Ágape Misión Mundial Initiative

Task: Help the Red Canary Collective ideate and write website copy on the donation page for the Ágape Misión Mundial initiative.

Process: Content ideation and copywriting went through several rounds. We worked cross-functionally with everyone on the marketing team, the CEO, and the journalists and activists. It was an honor to collaborate with them.

Target audience: Ultimately, anyone who cares about human rights, but especially their stakeholders and donors.

Results: Increased engagement and secured funding.

This is a humanitarian crisis. Asylum Seekers need your help. The need is real and urgent.

  • In 2021 over one million asylum seekers showed up at the U.S./Mexico border. 80 percent came from El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras.

  • Among them are pregnant women, toddlers, the elderly, some with disabilities, and unaccompanied minors. Many are fleeing their homes for their very survival, escaping places rife with gang violence, organized crime, poverty, and climate catastrophes, only to find themselves languishing in dangerous border towns.

  • They are subjected to constant human rights violations and at risk of being sent back home, or to other countries where they have no money or resources, and where they have no ties.

  • Currently, the El Chaparral migrant camp in Tijuana, Mexico, will be permanently shut down, abandoning an additional 3,000 asylum-seekers to the streets of a dangerous border town.

Join Pastor Albert Rivera and the Ágape Misión Mundial shelter in supporting the rights of migrants and their children. An award-winning humanitarian, the pastor built the Ágape shelter from the ground up and turned it into a sanctuary for asylum seekers. Albert continues to advocate for the most vulnerable, making sure everyone has enough food, proper shelter, and legal assistance.

Today, a new Ágape Misión Mundial dormitory is under construction. Permission has been granted to acquire adjacent lots where Ágape can expand its facility to accommodate the urgent need. We need your help to support this expansion.
